Oatmeal stout 91 øl
Oatmeal stout har havre i malten, hvilket giver en behagelig, fuld smag og en blød profil, der er rig uden at være kornet. Et karamel- og chokoladeagtigt præg af ristet malt bør være tydeligt - blødt og ikke bittert. Kaffeagtige aromaer af ristet byg og ristet malt (chokolade og nød) er fremtrædende. Farven er mørkebrun til sort. Bitterheden er moderat, ikke høj. Humlesmag og -aroma er valgfri, men bør ikke overdøve balancen, hvis de er til stede. Det er en middel- til fuldfyldig øl med minimale frugtige estere. Diacetyl bør være fraværende eller i ekstremt lave niveauer. Startvægtfylde og alkoholindhold følger den engelske tradition for oatmeal stout.
